You know, They say high school is the best time of your life. Obviously, my life missed that memo, but I always looked forward to college. (In my head, college= freedom, fun, and work that I CHOOSE to do in courses I decided to take.) While applying to colleges and hearing back from some, I've come to the conclusion that unless I hear back a positive reply from my "reach schools" the Art Institute of Boston is my best bet for college. (And if finacially that back fires I've got UMass Dartmouth (a.k.a. the Gray Prison) to be content with.

After doing some calculations and all that good stuff, it's going to cost me about $35,000 a year to go to AIB, and that's not including a laptop, and very cheap art supplies. Sure, I got a $7,500 merit scholarship but I'm still $27,500 short.

Are there any AIB students/alumni out there on DA that can honestly say that AIB is worth the cost and can ensure a career ahead of me?

Plus, (Now I'm reaching.) I'm interested in double majoring in Illustration and Grapic Design, I know AIB offers a 5-year course in doing that, but they are very skimpy in how one could apply to do that.
